Current and former service men and women qualify for funding towards professional development.
Designed and run by Veterans, for current and former members of HM Forces, and the wider military family, the Supply Chain Open Education Academy provides accredited learning programmes, and structured work-placements, to help people learn about the many careers available in the logistics, supply chain and transportation industries and, if appropriate, support them to gain employment.
Our logistics, cyber, and internet intelligence and investigations programmes are all led by industry experts with military and security experience. Our course leaders understand the opportunities and challenges of service life. They will work with learners to enable them to succeed, no matter where in the world they might be. Because each of our courses have several start dates a year, learners have the flexibility to take a break from study for operational reasons without being penalized in any way.
And, of course, learners can use their Standard and Enhanced Learning Credits to help meet the cost of the programmes. Moreover, we do not charge learners for organizing work-placements, which are offered by leading UK logistics, supply chain and transportation businesses.
Whether you are currently servicing and want to update your professional knowledge, or are considering a civilian career; a veteran; a partner or dependent of somebody serving; or an ex-cadet, the Supply Chain Open Education Academy will help you to develop new knowledge and skills relevant to logistics, supply chain and transportation businesses. Please contact us so we can discuss your plans.
